Dalal and Roosal
She lost her right leg above the knee and her baby brother and home to a
missile. She has been here 3 times.
BEFORE: Roosal Noori, from Baghdad, Iraq, ten years old. Roosal was born with an under-developed spinal cord caused by the chemical warfare of Saddam Hussein. Roosal first came to GMRF in 2005 and has been here 2 times.
NOW: With a new, prosthetic leg for Dalal and a body glove for Roosal, this
dynamic duo runs and enjoys a full life. They exhibit creative talents in
new painting endeavors and have shot their first movies, produced by GMRF's "One Child at a Time Arts Program".
