Biography
Lisa Stock a filmmaker based in New York City. She pulls her stories from a varied background in theater, film, and anthropology, plus several years work at cultural institutions, including: the American Museum of Natural
History, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Wildlife Conservation Society. Her work delves deep into
our human nature, what we embrace and allow to happen - choices that lift us out of the darkness and those that might not sit well with our conscience. Her stories bring those inner tendencies to life visually through tales incorporating myth and magic realism – everything from the Odyssey to the paintings of Magritte. Lisa's other life is spent in the world of flamenco and cakes.
