Annette, a writer and director, received her B.A. at McGill University and her M.F.A at Columbia University's Film School. Screenings for her short films include the Tribeca Film Festival, Hamptons Film Festival, Palm Springs Short Film Festival, Karlovy Vary Film Festival, Florida Film Festival, PBS, HBO, the Baltimore Museum of Art, and MOMA. Annette received the New Line Cinema Award at Columbia and won awards at the Austin Film Festival, the Crested Butte Reel Fest, the Black Maria Film Festival, the Rosebud Film Festival, and Film Fest New Haven.
Annette has been a writer and producer at MTV's pro-social Web site ThinkMTV, and is a Web writer and project manager for UNICEF. She completed her first feature film, "Fighting Fish" in 2009. She is currently writing a screenplay adaptation, which she is slated to direct, and is editing her documentary on the New York artist Kit Keith.


Annette just completed her first feature film called "Fighting Fish." The film tells the story of a brother and sister in their twenties who have to overcome their troubled past in order to find real love and happiness.
