http://www.filmannex.com/galleries/photo/1576/92371

comics

last few weeks i spent in comics world.

I must admit it seems comics language is oldest visual narrative form in human history. Long before books. Also its more different than language of dance, song or book.

Book allows you to imagine everything writer wants, but problem is , you can't "see" more than you know. And biggest problem is - i am not a writer. Word is not my tool.

Song allows you to feel, what book don't allow. It builds vibrations inside you, and those feelings are the main story.

Dance is most abstract form of visual narrative. You can see only what you know. And i am not a dancer.

So, maybe, is worth to think about all my short ideas to put on paper in some comics form?

Also storyboards basicly are "type of comics"

HM....

If there is genre in literature named "Literal Play" (plays witch never be played on stage, and are ment to live on paper only, as reeding source) so maybe there is worth to think about movies, who will be only as storryboard.

SO, maybe i will draw some comics, or storyboard.

"my first" PLAYBOY

wow.

I am glad to announce that all day long i working on my first Playboy illustration! Of corse it sounds bether than maybe its in reality, cos this issue is one of those "regional" numbers, witch are different in every country and just use brand PLAYBOY.

Anyway im happy to do drawing for such a brand! Story is some kind of cheap criminal type. But who cares.

I always thought that PLAYBOY have way too less nudity and way to mutch glance. Some kind of building stereotypes for people about life in style. I don't use rollex and dont drive on Jaguar or Porche, i don't go hunting and i dont search best carrebian isle for diving.

another character mess

seems, sometimes is quite hard to hold yoursef inside terithory you pointed befor movie production!

Problem is when during production, your character slightly changes, its time for him to get life through hands of animators, but he stoped and screamed : "WAIT! Am i look readdy for your movie?"

And i start to think...mh... maybe let's add this and that here and there.. so after 3 days it's completley different character, but also great one.

God! its so hard.

Time spent on one short movie is huge, and of corse, during this production time your brains and way of thinking evulate. But what to do with all good ideas wich don't fit under inner rules of movie? Or worse - there are some good ideas, and them could make your film more "deeper", but also will cut off a huge piece of simplicity from main idea why this film is made.

How good directors solve this problem? Or they make movies for big screen and simply don't have freedom of independet filmmakers?

any ideas?

National Film Award

wow!

to type a word in screenplay is about 2sec...
to create the same word in movie can be endless journey.

stupid head

19.11.2011

imagine, somehow i lost in a shop my new animation movie background pack for layouts!!!!
So in next day i went back to shop and wow.. i got back my backgrounds.
why i'm telling this?
Those backgrounds were from action sequence witch im not shure about being in film.
So maybe its a sign - to not put in movie sequence witch runs away from you by itself.
maybe im just giving to much mean for something meaningless... ok i lost bacgrounds and found them.
so what?

and even after "Beowoolf" i realize the pover of animation... but after "AVATAR" i get

the point -this tehnology is future of modern cinema!! Why? Because emotions of

these 3D carachters were far mor behind human actors, and power of my viewers

believe in them was the best one... only by this simple fact, that these blue

humanioids was animated. So here i am at the edge of choosing by my viewers path,

do i want to believe in real human actor, or i can believe with no doubts to animated

character in animated world. I choose 2! Cos in first case, actor is a human like me

and doing his best to emulate story and hero of my inner mind... ok, he is good, but

what next? He is so "correct" and "straight", that i can believe him until one

pont...where i catch myself thinking: ok this is a movie and it can't do nothing with my soul... ok, i cried, laught but thats all..
instead animated character!
Why,
because animated character can do the same things what real actor even more, but differencies

are in my mind, animated character for me is an absoloute, hi is against depicting

documentary real lifes simulation on screen. Even if he will do that same regular

action - drinking tea from cup- who do my mind will believe more? Tom Cruise or Blue

Avatar?... moust will scream Tom, Tom... but i believe mind will catch up on Blue

Avatar tea drinkers actions, cos them are more literature, more abstract, and leave more place

for our mind, our imagination.
And imagination is pushing force for characthers life, even if there are little amount of it. So cant wait until next motion ccapture artpiece... and who knows maybe after 10 years, all dead moviestars will apear in new - upgraded reality films, in what we wil believe more than real Greta Garbo or Humphrey Bogart.

animation characters

Since last days, i have been working on my new (one of) project visualizations... Its quite challenging, cos you want to make bether than you ever did before, and keep the same values of your signature stile... also characters must be seriously deep, but in the same time cartoony, they must fit for every situation in joke or drama. By the same time these upcoming heroes must represent all characteristic in static moment - in sighn, to avoid doubts for audiance: is it stupid, or bad, what he likes and loves etc.
So in animation character must be like a sign on a road.
ah yes... main thing, you must love them, by looking on them, its a misterious goldmine between you, character and audiance. Its a half of interesting storry, interesting and deep portrait af cartoon hero.

Devil's Fuji

so... so i decided that it would be a nice thing to uploud all my 32 min action samurai movie into this page.
