A man lives a uneventful life. He seems to have no friends or family life, and his life only consists of work and going trough his mail. But one day he begins receiving strange pieces of paper in his mail. They fail to attract his attention at first, but when he understands the pieces are gathering, he starts doing a collage of them. Day by day, he will change his habits and find out that these insignificant pieces of papers are about to turn his life upside down.

Mid-February 2011, Nikon France asked CHIVTEAM® to create a short-film for the international release of their brand new HD Cam D5100, 6 weeks later. In this very short deadline, we had to write, shoot and edit an original story which would aim at showing D5100 HD abilities and give a warmer image of Nikon. Here is a small "Behind the scene" work including directors' interviews and images of the D5100 in action.

A filmmaker wanders around the working class streets of a small Indian town, looking for some good shots. As he sees the amused faces of the children watching him and his camera, the young man decides to show them how to use it. What follows is a magical moment of laughter and connection during which these underprivileged children find a brief escape from their everyday life. This short film was shot in Bharatpur (INDIA) during a Polio Vaccination Day.

"Heroism is everywhere, you just need the good eye to see it." This short-film was shot for the Nikon France Film Festival in december 2010. The topic of this contest was "I am a hero". By this very simple story, CHIVTEAM® wanted to show how the photographer/videographer can see a scene with a very different eye from other people and how he can change situations with this eye. The film did not win anything in the Nikon contest but it was the start of the collaboration between Nikon France and CHIVTEAM® for the short-film "Fragments".

In January 2011, CHIVTEAM® released their first official short movie "Je suis ce que je vois". It was the beginning of a collaboration between five friends which still continues today. For more than one year now, CHIVTEAM® has been producing and creating a lot of diversified video contents, mainly music videos for electro music artists but also short films and documentaries. . VENUS is a conceptual and experimental movie that everyone can interprets its own way. Of course, it is first of all a tribute to the Woman. A woman that rise herself to what she deserves to be : a woman equal to every single person on this earth, men and women. For this, she has to fight. Against prejudices, against the hands of domination, of the society that still gives more advantages to the men. It's all about femininity, maternity, birth, pride, hope and more again. . Behind VENUS From November 22th to December 31th 2011, Nikon France organized the second edition of Nikon Film Festival. On December 30th, we realized that registrations were closing 24 hours later. At this moment, we had absolutely nothing and VENUS wasn't expected to be born yet. We had no time to write an accomplished script so from a very simple idea we challenged ourself to make this short movie in less than 24 hours. The result is far from being perfect but... here it is !
