On December 16th, 2011, Ekaterina Pylova from Major Model New York visited the Film Annex film studios. Ekaterina Pylova has an interest in acting, so we gave her a chance to become "the character". She talked and improvised based on the following questions: -Think of The Black Swan, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and Sleep No More. Describe your character to me. -Be older and secretive. Ask me 2 questions. -What are you selling? Is it hard to come by? With this project, Film Annex's goal is to take a closer look at Ekaterina Pylova's acting skills to cast her in both in-house and other potential productions. Film Annex and its beauty & fashion division, Models Web TV, scout new acting talent within the modeling industry and promote them to Film Annex's community of 40,000 film professionals and 5 million daily viewers. Film Annex is currently producing an original web series, The Red Notice (www.TheRedNotice.com), as well as a film series called Dreams, directed by Abel Ferrara (www.AbelFerrara.com).

Movie Synopsis:
We put together a fun behind the scenes clip from the video 'Ven a Mi' starring Ekaterina Pylova and Frankie Garcia. Shot on a Saturday afternoon, we took our Metro Cards and walked around the corner from our studio to the 28th street subway platform with a few Canon 5d Mark II's and Frankie's guitar. After a quick shoot navigating some annoyed commuters we made it back to our studio for some singing, dancing, and the ever present "it's a wrap" chocolate cake. It was an amazing day made more special with the magic of Frankies guitar and Ekaterina's energy!

Movie Synopsis:
'Ven A Mi' was conceived on a subway platform in New York City one morning while transferring from the local to an express train that waited impatiently for the passengers to step in. During the mad dash to cross the platform before the train was too crowded or its doors shut, I was stopped in my tracks by the brilliant sound of a guitar, an impassioned voice, and the need to take in the amazing performance that so many times I had unfortunately neglected to acknowledge and enjoy, as I had seen this man perform in the same location on this platform many times before. The difference that day was I simply slowed down, I listened and I truly became aware of the musician who gave so much beauty to a tremendous crowd that rarely was his audience. That extra minute I gave to the musician and to myself on that crowded platform, where I was an audience of one, brought to mind long forgotten memories. We smiled at each other, I continued on, and this was the beginning of a very special day.
