The greatest football match of the century, England versus Hungary, started at 3:15 on November 25, 1953. For months, a whole country had been looking forward to this date and now they had all gathered around their radios. The Golden Team was going to play against the English, who had never been beaten at home… A few minutes before the start, however, a man appears and spoils all the rooting by announcing the goals in advance. He is always right. He calls himself Tutti. No one knows him or where he comes from. He runs from one place to the other, but since he cannot keep his mouth shut, he is always thrown out. Soon he has to flee, for State Security finds out about him. He has two helpers, Helén, the street-cleaner, who takes pity on him and hides him in her trash can and Halmi the bar musician, Helén’s ex-fiancée. And while these three are hiding, the match of the century goes on. But how does he know the goals? And what will happen to him? To them? To us? The film is ninety minutes long, just like the broadcast. Is this enough for Tutti to re-write his story? For that’s what the film is really about.

Gabor has to use every trick up his sleeve in order to make the girl take him seriously: he acquires a luxury apartment, a sports car, a medical degree and even an entire hospital to impress her. But his lies are so complicated that he gets entangled in his own ropes and in the end is no longer even sure what he wants to achieve.

The heroes of our film live on an idyllic, little planet in a neighbouring solar system. Their simple existence becomes suddenly complicated when an unidentified object flies into their lives (Voyager-3) with a message from Earth. Egon decides that there is only one thing to do and that is to establish contact with this distant civilisation…. The fundamental and unavailable philosophy of this animated adventure is a singularly simple one: the complete and total avoidance of aggression in any form whatsoever. The loveable characters at the centre of events never knowingly harm another living being. Although they often get battered and bruised, it is only as a result of their own hapless antics. Egon and Dönci never speak on screen and so all communication that takes place between them is achieved by a series of childish mimes and simple sounds.

Immigrants is the story of Vladislav (a Russian), and Joska (a Hungarian). Both are immigrants and best friends, living and chasing the American dream together. Vlad has a daughter, Ana, who's adapting to life in America at the speed of light, while her dad is in complete culture shock. They stay at the Vista del Mar, an apartment complex run by an old failed actress, Greta Knight, who is always after Vlad for sexual favors. The building is home to immigrants from all over the world: Flaco, a friend from Mexico; Mr. Chea, who runs a Chinese family restaurant; Nazim, a former Pakistani nuclear scientist who drives a tour bus; and Mr. Splits, an old black pimp. We follow Vlad and Joska in their adventures through their encounter with the American capitalist company Glut-co, through their attempt to open a Russian/Hungarian restaurant, and as their friendship is put in jeopardy when they hit the L.A. night scene. All the while Vlad is looking for a way to make a life for himself and his daughter; and Joska as well, Joska is mainly looking for women. With a story that is comedic and yet poignant, Immigrants is a movie for anyone who ever had a dream.

But the candidates make her even more disillusioned so she is forced to change her clinical approach. A handsome actor joins the company for Dora's latest stage adaptation. She is not exactly impressed by what she sees at the beginning but as time goes by a very different feeling starts to blossom in their relationship. Is Dora going to stay with her original plan or accept her feelings and give men one more chance? The highest rated Hungarian film of 2006, which won a cluster of awards both at home and abroad.

Soon back in an old haunt familiar faces and old habits and Theo is "home". The lover he left behind is entertaining the crowd while his old mates force drink down his neck and drugs up his nose. Having missed him madly, the artiste of the evening rushes off the stage and into his arms. She was the one who kept him warm at night appearing as the star of his x-rated dreams... the whole thing is a lost paradise... Based on the author's very individual experience, this film carries an equally clear anti-drug message.

Boroka Arva (Julia Urbankovics) has at last come of age and receives a substantial lump sum as part of her home-starter grant. All she wants to do is to be treated like a "real human being" and celebrate her birthday in a luxury hotel with her boyfriend, Janos (Ferenc Hujber), and now she has the money to realise her dream. Life in paradise looks set to come to an abrupt end when the cash runs out and so Janos talks Boroka into providing a little extra room-service to an aging gent (Sandor Lukacs) who suffers an unexpected heart attack at an inappropriate moment. Straight out of care, Boroka, with no money and no options, moves in with her boyfriend who is keen to supplement his income by selling her body to calling clients. Boroka's fate seems set until a local pimp, Ronaldo (Gergo Kaszas), offers Janos a fabulous motorbike in exchange for his devoted girlfriend. The temptation proves too great... Ronaldo takes Boroka and plants her on the verge of a main road in the hope that his newly acquired virtual virgin will pull in plenty of punters. Used and abused by a swift succession of eager takers, she ignores Ronaldo's threats of violence and decides to take her chances on her own. She first bumps into Moric (Attila Toth) filling in a lottery slip who later finds himself with a ringside seat to a chance meeting between Boroka and her pursuing pimp. With nowhere left to go, Boroka accepts Moric's offer of accommodation and moves into his trendy atelier. Their lives take a turn when Moric stumbles across a course on the internet offering marketing training with EU funding to "funny, little whores". The description seems to fit so Boroka decides to take up the challenge...
