Liquid Sound Lounge, est. 1993. Started as a radio show and blossomed to include event productions, dance parties including our annual boat dance cruises around Manhatten, record label and consulting. DJ Jeannie Hopper is the founder and underground guide to the grassroots culture and community focused world of music and culture. She's the go to lady for the history of dance and electronic music, as well as , club culture historically in New York, nationally and globally. Having dj'ed all over the world including Russia, Malaysia, Greece, Spain, Ibiza, Italy, Portugal, Sweeden, Norway, Germany, Canada, Mexico, and residencies in England and the USA. Also, she curates the WPS1 DJ Sessions & conducts the interviews for DJ Culture, hosts & produces the music show Liquid Love, along with interviewing many people from all different disciplines of the arts at art festivals including Art Basel Miami Beach, Venice Biennale, The Armory Art Show all for PS1 Contemporary Art Center's (an affiliate of the Museum of Modern Art-MoMA) online official radio station Art Radio WPS1.org As well as being the station's manager and program manager.
