Betrayal to Genocide at Srebrenica, Sylvie Matton, French Investigative Author
Independent Films, Women, Web Series, Talk Shows, Interviews, Documentaries
"Srebrenica, an Announced Genocide" is Sylvie Matton's investigative book into the betrayal of this UN declared "Safe area" and NATO "protected zone." This French author of other historic works including "Rembrandt's Whore" has now authored several articles and scholarly analysis on the conflicts in the former Yugoslavia, but the Srebrenica betrayal and genocide remains most brazen. This was not so much because of what the killers did but that they were allowed to do it. Ms. Matton points out the complicity of representatives of the globe's great powers, Richard Holbrooke, Carl Bildt, General Bernard Janvier, Alain Jupee and Yasushi Akashi, who sought the cover of plausible deniability but made the deals with those now accused of orchestrating and committing the crimes, Slobodan Milosevic, General Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic. Ambassador Muhamed mo Sacirbey compares notes and speaks with Sylvie Matton with interviewer Tom Osborne.
