Caribbean Pollution

Nueva Venecia, off Colombia's Caribbean coast is overwhelmingly dependent upon the surrounding waters upon which thatch huts on poles are built. The United Nations' International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is part of 5 year 12 nation effort to trace, identify and hopefully combat pollution into the sea from marine traffic, mining, pesticides, fertilizer and just garbage. Nuclear techniques aid the community of scientists in edge-cutting investigation and analysis.
