It was a blessing meeting Colin Firth, finally! I was supposed to meet him for “Mamma Mia!” but my plane was delayed. And so, by sheer force of will, I finally was able to meet the Academy Award-winning actor for “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy,” and I was so glad! He was down-to-earth, humble, and smart in person. In the film, he plays the mysterious Bill Haydon, and you will not forget his character’s comeuppance.

The time is 1973. The Cold War of the mid-20th Century continues to damage international relations. Britain's Secret Intelligence Service (SIS), a.k.a.
