INT. Moon Studio- Day
J MOON
Welcome kooks, nut and perverts
to the very first annual of 72-
full moon marathon. I'm Jonathon
moon prince of the paranormal,
ambassador to aliens, chancellor
of conspiracy, but before we begin
our show tonight I want to
introduce you to my new
assistant Sarah. Say hello to
the Kooks.

Reveal Sarah

Sarah
Hello kooks. I just want to
thank you for the opportunity
to explore the world of
the weird with all of you.
I hope to be caught up
as soon as possible

J MOON
That's very nice Sarah.
You make a wonderful
addition to our show. And
I'm sure our dear Jeniffer
who as you all know died
tragically one month ago
in a plane crash. I'm sure
she would have wholeheartedly
approved of you being here.
Sarah welcome.

SARAH
Thank you Jonathon, you've
been so gracious and helpful.
And to all you listeners
Jonathon Moon's secret studio
is truly a magical place.
Don't tell Moon that I am
going to explore every
nook and crannies and tell
you all about.

J MOON
Well before we all fall
into diabetic coma's with
all this sugary rhetoric
let's begin our show. I'm
sure you've all heard about
the Los Angeles animal
control officer who is bitten
one hunder times by rattle
snakes.

The script continue on to introduce the attending Doctor. If you take a look at the footage that is shot of Moon in the studio and then Doctor Brown you should notice a difference in appearance.

Moon's shot on HD with the Canon 7D where the doctor is shot on 16 mm with a 1960 arri-s.

My idea as the director is to create environment that set a variety of moods and visual impressions. I don't want the same texture moving from one scene to the next. The whole series moves from the present with Tony Rustic to 14 months in the past. There are a number of stories that are taking place with three main protagonist.

We used 16mm, super 16, HD-1080 and miniDV tape. And for me it is not about one format looking better or worse but about the emotional undertones each bring to the table.
