"Echoes..." - an early experimental film from Director Ben Warner.
SYNOPSIS:
Strange events are occurring in Mark's life. His life is turning into an unnerving mix of reality and fantasy. What is real and what is imaginary? No one can say where he has gone, or even if he went at all, or if he was in fact destined to take this journey in the first place, but one thing is for certain: his life will never be the same again.

001 – INT. BEDROOM. NIGHT.
MOONLIGHT streams through the only window across the room, revealing a BED closest to the WINDOW.
In the bed is a MAN, shifting and turning, experiencing a nightmare. After several seconds of mental torture, he finally wakes up.
The MAN pushes himself into an upright position quickly. He breathes heavily for several seconds before calming down.
The MAN looks towards the window, the moonlight streaming across his face. He has a GHOSTLY appearance in the moonlight.
An ARTIFICIAL MECHANICAL SOUND erupts from the darkness. The man is startled. He looks towards the bedroom door.
Nothing.
The man shrugs his shoulders.
The man gets out of bed slowly. He stands up, walking slowly out of the bedroom.

The man shrugs his shoulders. He can still partially see with the aid of the moonlight.
The man walks over to the kitchen table and picks up a FLASHLIGHT. He turns it on.
The man walks over to the FRIDGE.
The man opens the fridge………
The fridge light does not come on. Nothing can be seen inside the fridge.

The flashlight flickers out.
The man breathes heavily.
The hallway is flooded with LIGHTS. The hallway turns white under the intense LIGHTS.
The man is blinded.
The sudden flood of lights is accompanied by a throbbing, mechanical sound that grows louder and louder with each passing second.
The light and sound evaporate quickly, leaving the man in darkness again.
The flashlight flickers on.
The man picks up the flashlight, standing up. He scans the immediate area around him with the flashlight.
