Eid Al Adha or the ‘Feast Of Sacrifice’, a celebration in the Muslim calendar when friends and families feast on sheep slaughtered in a ritual inspired by Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son to God.

---VOICEOVER CONT---

“Eid this year, it has a special flavour, it feels different than previous ones. We’re living in freedom, a life with democracy, we feel more relaxed, its much much different.”
---VOICEOVER---
EID is a celebration highlighting unity, sacrifice and forgiveness between Muslims. The revolution affected the economy, people working, importing of goods, but all this will not affect the people of Libya sharing and providing for each other on this traditional celebration.
---SOUNDBITE--- (ARABIC W/ ENG VO)
(Length 19 Secs)
“We as Muslims, under all conditions, good or bad, normally have unity among all people. If people are in need or not, they will have the chance to taste other people’s peace offering.”
