Synopsis
"Set in 2005, Ashes to Dust is the story of Rachel, a young woman who has been brought up with the love of cricket and a special relationship with her father
Their only dream together is to witness England lift the Ashes Cup having continuously lost the prestigious series since 1988. So great is her father's love of the team, he calls them his 'lads'. So when Rachel leaves homr feeling neglected, following the birth of her daughter, she never expects to return. Until fate intervenes
Now over a decade later she must return home to pay her last respects to her father when the team they both loved is on the verge of winning the Ashes for the first time in 18 years.
The lads that once let her father down, are making up for it and now so must she.
Ashes to Dust is the story ofcourage in the face of grief, anh hope in the face of defeat."

This is a very nice and touching film.
I am very interested in films from this region of the world and highly appreciate the way those diverse cultures merged into this story.

How precious life is? Our life is the most important value.
And if it's lost some day, it's irreplaceable...
Only the memories will live longer with us. Nobody can take those precious, pleasant moments and minutes away...
This is a beautiful short about the happy and sad moments of life, which touches our heart.
Well-chosen scenes, nice photography and music which is going well with the film.
So well done!

Csak az emlékek élnek tovább velünk. Senki sem veheti el tőlünk azokat a drága, kellemes pillanatokat és perceket...
Szép kis film, az élet boldog és szomorú pillanatairól szól, mindenki szívét megérintve.
Jól megválasztott helyszínek, szép fényképezés és a zenéje is nagyon illik a filmhez.
