"Set in 2005, Ashes to Dust is the story of Rachel, a young woman who has been brought up with the love of cricket and a special relationship with her father.
Their only dream together is to witness England lift the Ashes Cup having continuously lost the prestigious series since 1988. So great is her father's love of the team, he calls them his 'lads'. So when Rachel leaves homr feeling neglected, following the birth of her daughter, she never expects to return. Until fate intervenes.
Now over a decade later she must return home to pay her last respects to her father when the team they both loved is on the verge of winning the Ashes for the first time in 18 years.
The lads that once let her father down, are making up for it and now so must she.
