The Little Traitor

The year is 1947. The setting is British Palestine. Israel is just a few months shy of independent statehood, and 11-year-old Proffy Liebowitz-an impassioned, pre-adolescent militant-is itching to see imperialist forces off his land. But when he is caught breaking curfew by a kindly British soldier, Proffy develops the unlikeliest of friendships with the enemy.
