This engaging urban fairy tale from Bosnia follows a Sarajevo taxi driver whose attempts to change his life for the better are met with resistance at all turns. An unsparing commentary on a postwar society where being nice goes against the grain, the film, in keeping with the best of Balkan cinema, fuses sex, violence and humor into a rollicking tale.
