This movie was taken from a DVD created by Peter Wentworth Bucknell. http://www.NYvideo.us ___________________________________________________________________________ About the Memorial Field: NYC 9/11 Memorial Field Manhattan’s Inwood Park September 8 – 11, 2006 Fifth Anniversary Memorial Event for the Entire NYC Community The first 9/11 Memorial event open to the general public is expanding in scope. In addition to the garden of 3000 flags representing those who perished, the World Memorial sculpture, an 18’ tall tribute to the World Trade Center will also be on display throughout the weekend. On Saturday, displays from the FDNY, NYPD, EMS and the FDNY fireboat will be open for public viewing. Events will take place and 9/11 artwork will be on display throughout the weekend. A commemorative ceremony will take place on Sunday at 1pm. The 9/11 Memorial Field is a garden of 3000 Flag of Honor and Flags of Heroes on 10’ flag poles. Visitors are encouraged to walk among the flags, to touch them and to read the names of those who died. The Flag of Honor contains the names…
