Synopsis
With her band Union Station, a traditional bluegrass ensemble, Alison Krauss is a virtuoso fiddle player and bluegrass singer. Perhaps the most successful bluegrass musician ever, she's had several platinum-selling albums and has received seventeen Grammy Awards. On her current sold-out European tour, Krauss talks to Dave Fanning about everything from growing up in Illinois to her award-winning work in movies such as "O Brother Where Art Thou?" and "Cold Mountain."
