Concerned I
by Artin Tóth

The shooting of this documentary with Attila began in November 2003 in St. L Hospital. He was waiting for a marrow transplant at the time. Then a new kind of life under sterile conditions ensued, almost hermetically isolated from the outside world. This was also the start of an incredible struggle for life, the key to which was Attila's magnificent will to be cured. The camera recorded events over an entire year about the world inside a sterile box, successes and nadirs of a 14 year-old boy's struggle.

I tumbled on the film on the Internet, and even I am an outsider, you do not perish to obtrusiveness maybe if I write my thoughts down , which are in connection of the film.
For the beginning, I congratulate to Artin, because it is fantastic, what he has created. Such humanely introduced this world, as only a few knows it. (Especially, that showing these stories tapered onto the sensation is spreading on and on rather which I think more harms, as it is benefiting for the affected.) He was able to drag the spectator into the film maximumly, I rooted for one's team to the end, that the restoration to health manages, and I felt for players in the film in joy and in sorrow in the same way. I liked the 3rd part of the series also , where we were allowed to recognize thoughts of the doctors, nurses , laboratory technicians and coordinators also, it gave a hand to understand this world better, what - as also Cathie said in the film - a few of us can feel while we are travelling on the metro for example. This movie is good, but not only because it is awakening pity in the man (of course that also), but it is bringing closer such a world, folks and minds, that from before the greater part of the people closed hermetically. Of course, about this the otsiders also could do, since many times we are closing our mind before the troubles, but I believe in, if more people understand the main point, then maybe more will be open and, if necessary, become donors. It is not an easy decision to help on a stranger, especially, if it is going to us with also some thorns. At the same time it is indispensable to the decision, to know everything about the process. This film went a great way towards this.
