Can the US and global economy recover until the plight of housing and particularly the ordinary homeowner addressed? It has been too convenient to blame the "irresponsible borrowing" of the financially less well-off masses, while still little is being accomplished to help stabilize the plight of homeowners and the ordinary worker.
