Marion Cotillard, Oscar for Best Actress for "La Vie en Rose", a film by Olivier Dahan, triggered the illumination of the Champs Elysees on Wednesday night in the presence of Bertrand Delanoë, mayor of Paris. To celebrate the French presidency of the European Union, a blue halo was installed in each tree. This magic power will remain in place until the end of January. For two years, the illuminations of the Champs Elysees use LED next generation reduces energy costs by 70% shared by the merchants and the mayor of Paris. And for the first time, the Champs-Elysees host a Christmas market between the roundabout and the Concorde.
