A visit to Killingworth in Northumberland by writers Paul Summers and Sean Burn with film-maker Alex Elliott produced Liturgy.
An exploration of a place and the human beings who have inhabited that place. Dark and often tragic Liturgy charts the journey of a place that was little more than swamp and then became the very heart of an industrial revolution only to sink back into obscurity.
Killingworth is still in transition and through words and images we explore its past present and future.
