Maggi Mee - My Way

Maggi Mee was posting a competition mid this year. The stunt group from Low Angle and I (Julie) entered this clip.

Unfortunately we didn't make it... some home made cooking shows took the first places :)
But I still prefer our little spoof.

PS: Don't try to cook the recipe. We've no idea how it tastes... :P

SCRIPT:
EXT GARDEN JLN TUALANG

Camera on Adrian.

ADRIAN: I'm here today to cook my favorite recipe containing...

He grabs a chicken from off screen and holds it into the camera.

ADRIAN: Chicken!

He holds the Chicken ridiculously close to the camera.

GARRY (O.S.): Oi! Out of Focus!

Adrian removes the chicken.

ADRIAN: Sorry... Chicken and... He grabs a Maggi packaging from off screen and presents it.

ADRIAN: Maggi!

CUT TO:

Terry on Camera.

TERRY: I will cook my favorite recipe with...

Terry looks down, grabs sth and presents a chili into the camera.

TERRY: Chili!

He puts the chili down and looks around.

TERRY: And... and...

He face camera left.

TERRY: Where's my chicken?

ADRIAN (O.S.): You wanted to buy your own chicken.

Camera zooms out to show both standing next to each other in front of a table full of bowls and ingredients. There's a cooking stove to the right.

TERRY: You said you'll bring for two!

ADRIAN: No, I didn't...

CUT TO:

We see one bowl in a top shot of chicken on the table amid other stuff.

TERRY (O.S): Yes, you did!

ADRIAN (O.S.): No, I did not!

Pan up & the action fight for the one bowl of chicken starts.

Fight.

Fight look changes to 80s Kung Fu & back. (Choreography storyboarded.)

Back in Making Of style.

GARRY (O.S.): This is a waste of time...

The camera wobbles as if sb puts it down somewhere. We see then Garry walking into the picture from behind the camera.

Garry jumps into the action, takes all the ingredients and cooks delicious Kung Po Maggi! (storyboarded)

FINAL SHOT: All three eating happily Kung Po Maggi.

KUNG PO MAGGI flies into the picture. With each word one of the guys freezes into a Kung Fu Position.

KUNG ... Adrian freezes.
PO ... Garry freezes.
MAGGI! ... Terry freezes.
