Return to Da Foo Tsun is an original, live action*, comedy-drama series about a family’s experience and journey from the big city back to their family roots in a village in rural China.
After finding early success in Beijing and selling his company, a father decides to move his family back to the village of Da Foo Tsun to “re-learn” the meaning of family values and community.
The series revolves around the family adapting to the peculiarities of the village…and also the people of the village adapting to the peculiarities of the new city slickers.
《重返大福村》以陆大鹏一家从城市重返“大福村”农村老家为故事主线，采用好莱坞情景喜剧的表现手法，用一头“小驴”串起所有的故事。出身于农村来到城市发展的企业家“陆大鹏”（翟小兴饰）在事业上如鱼得水。但风光的背后，离婚并独自带两个孩子的“陆大鹏”却面临了前所未有的烦恼。百般无奈之下，他听取友人意见后决定“破釜沉舟”携全家重返大福村。
