Rose McGowan (Marique) Interview

It was a pleasure to finally meet Rose McGowan. I've been a fan of her since she played Amy Blue in 1995's "The Doom Generation," and now, she's the mystical Marique in Lionsgate's "Conan the Barbarian" starring Jason Momoa as the Cimmerian warrior. She was a delight to talk to and was very proud of the movie.

In this interview, we talked about:

*** What attracted her to the character Marique -- the character used to be a man!!!
*** Did she do anything special to prepare for the role?
*** Her character always tastes something in the air
*** The dynamic between her character and Stephen Lang who plays her father in the movie
*** She also talks about the sand people
*** Working on the set
*** Does "Conan" have a place in today's pop culture landscape?
