THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie Review

It's finally here, the movie we've all been waiting for -- "The Dark Knight Rises." I loved the second flick, but does the threequel live up to the hype? Christian Bale returns to the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman, and this time, he has to figure out the mysterious cat burglar, Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway), and the masked terrorist, Bane (Tom Hardy).
Returning to the franchise are Gary Oldman (Commissioner Gordon), Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox), and the fantastic Michael Caine (Alfred). Rounding out the cast are Joseph Gordon-Levitt (John Blake) and Marion Cotillard (Miranda Tate).
"The Dark Knight Rises" opens on July 20th, and all I can say is, watch it in IMAX for the film's 72 minutes were shot in the large format. Have fun!

Synopsis
It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.
But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.
