After the Spanish civil war, Laura, a young bourgeois from Barcelona, and Pedro, a rich Andalusian man with no other occupation than partying are in love.

Pedro agrees to start working if Laura accepts him as a boyfriend. But soon, Laura will discover that behind Pedro's good manners and refinement exists a dark and hidden life.
