The Underground World

A man comes to Lois and Clark with some maps that belonged to his father who claimed to have found a mysterious cavern. He wants to take the two reporters on a expedition to find out more about this underground world and give the Daily Planet the exclusivity on the story.

The Underground World (1943) is the sixteenth of seventeen animated Technicolor short films based upon the DC Comics character Superman. The cartoon was originally released to theaters by Paramount Pictures on June 18, 1943.
