The forests of the Aosta Valley are constantly visited by people aware of the importance of natural medicine. The healing properties of roots, leaves, flowers and herbs have been significant since ancient times, and such knowledge comes from direct contact with nature. Besides documenting the stages of preparing medicinal herbs, the film launches a larger discussion about illness and cures.
