The UN’s top official in charge of humanitarian affairs, John Holmes, has outlined the achievements of the UN in the aftermath of Haiti’s earthquake. Holmes sited a report just released six months into the recovery siting challenges and lessons to be learned saying that much more has been done than the UN gets credit for.
