Venezuela Violence

Caracas and Venezuela's urban centers have become some of South America's and the globe's most dangerous cities. From gang violence to children dropping out of school, UNICEF has initiated programs to counter this slide into ever greater despair.

After almost two decades of the current Chavez regime, perhaps more progress may have been expected. Coming elections may bring about change, but must for now the battle is fought on the streets regardless of politics by NGO's and organizations as UNICEF to help Venezuela's children recapture their future.
