Is buying on Filmannex, safe?
Yes, we use the Authorize.net service, and do not record your credit card information.
How can I upload my films on Film Annex?
- Log in to your Film Annex account.
- Click on “Upload Your Film” or “Add a New Movie”
- Fill out the upload form
- Click on “Add a movie file” or “Add trailer”
- Fill out the “Type of file” box in this section
- Choose the file you want to upload.
Uploading tips:
Format: We accept most formats such as Quicktime movie, Mpeg-4, Flash, WMV, AVI, etc. However, we do recommend H.264/MPEG-4 OR H.264 Quicktime files for a high-quality viewing experience.
Data Rate: ANY
Frame rate: Same as source.
Dimensions: ANY
File size: Maximum 940 MB
Poster size: Maximum 3 MB
NOTE: Please be aware that uploaded materials will not go online immediately. All uploaded videos are subject to review and they go through the Film Annex administration first. They are reviewed, converted, and put online by our programmers. Please give us at least a few hours for this process.
I can’t see the movie I just bought. What can I do?
First, please check to see that you have quicktime 7 plugin installed on your system.
If you have Quicktime 7 installed and still can’t see the movies, contact us.
I want to see the movie I just bought on my television. How can I do this?
For Windows: DVD Flick
Mac OS: Disco
After burning the movie, you can enjoy the movie in high-resolution on your TV!
How can I watch the films on Film Annex directly on my TV?
Here is an example – TV: Sharp Aquos, Computer: Macbook Pro.
The TV has an HDMI port (video only) and RCA ports (audio). The computer has a DVI port (video) and a Mini Plug port for audio.
You can easily purchase the cables and connect the two.
1 cable: HDMI to FVI (video), one Y cable with 2 RCA plugs and 1 Mini Plug (audio).
