I was born and raised in Thunder Bay,Ontario Canada, spent a few years in Niagra Falls and then came back to Thunder Bay where I have lived to this day. I have always had a keen interest in computers and for years thought that was what I wanted to do, so I took courses and studied for my A+ and CCNA certifications. However, I also always had an interest in movies, so I took a course on making films at my high school, I had no idea how to even turn a camcorder on, let alone shoot or edit video. But over the course of a few months I learned how and loved every minute of it.

A year later I did a co-op placement at the local television station where I continued to grow and thrive. At the end of the placement I was offered a job there and accepted it. I was a camera and audio operator in the production department and a production assistant in the videography department. I spent a total of 2 years at the station.

I have directed and produced a 10 minute promotional piece for a local high school, as well as a short pilot for a web only cooking series. I have also written several short scripts and done lighting for a few live theater productions.

I edited a short interview piece in the late summer/early fall of 2007 for an organization called Face Homelessness and also editing together episodes for a mobile content series called The Movie Makers. I completed work on my first short film called "Walking the Distance" in September 2008.

After the short film, I did some editing of conference footage for a company that specializes in the Contact Center Industry and went down to Las Vegas, Nevada to do some audio/visual work and film the world finals conference for the same company.
