Your BuzzScore takes into account:

• The number of films/videos you upload ( Filmmaking score )
• The number of blogs you write ( Blogging score )
• The extent to which you share these films and blogs with your network ( Sharing score )
• The extent to which your audience shares these films and blogs with their network ( Influence score )

Higher BuzzScore = More screen time on Film Annex = Higher revenues

Want more exposure on Film Annex? We have a featured filmmaker, films, and Web TV section on our homepage. The featured Web TVs are handpicked by our creative team led by Eren Gulfidan, hence the title “Eren’s Picks.”

The “Eren’s Picks” section on the Film Annex front page lists the selected Web TVs with the highest to lowest BuzzScore. The Web TVs of the filmmakers with the higher BuzzScores will also be showcased more frequently in the Sponsored Web TV section (right hand side of the front page) allowing more screentime to our audience resulting in more revenues.

The BuzzScore assesses how social you are on the web. More social filmmakers will take home more revenues.

Higher BuzzScore = Higher rate per blog = Higher revenues

The writers who are regular contributors to The Annex Press get paid per blog based on their BuzzScores. For example, a writer with a BuzzScore of 30 will get $30 per blog, whereas a writer with a BuzzScore of 15 will get $15.

If you’re a writer thinking: “My blogging score is high, but my filmmaking score is 0!” No sweat! You can increase your filmmaking score by adding films to your Web TV from our Open Film Library or requesting to host the work of your favorite filmmakers on Film Annex.
