Aamir Khan, actor-producer, and top of Bollywood and global “A-list” is now Goodwill Ambassador for the UN’s Children’s Fund (UNICEF). Khan will spotlight nutrition issues in India - one out of every two children is classified as malnourished in India.

Bollywood is becoming more recognized for its stars and their commitment to global causes from children to the environment. Priyanka Chopra and Rahul Bose are UNEP (UN Environment Program) advocates. “I realize there is a lot to be done and I hope that by lending my voice I can make a difference to the lives of children and hereby to the future of our country,” Mr. Khan offered upon announcement of his appointment in New Delhi.
