TROPIC THUNDER took out top spot again, while Vin Diesel's new film BABYLON AD had to settle for second.

The big news this weekend is that THE DARK KNIGHT crossed 500 million in total box office, only the second film to do so in history. The other important point to note is that its still in the top 3.

The total box office for 29-31 August 2008 at the North American Box Office came to 75 million.
