The US Box Office saw another strong opening Friday with the premiere of QUANTUM OF SOLACE, the new James Bond film easily beating its competition to take in an estimated huge 27 million on its first day of release. Look for a very strong opening weekend which should easily outperform its predecessor, CASINO ROYALE.

MADAGASCAR: ESCAPE 2 AFRICA dropped from its stellar opening last Friday to an estimated 8.1 million, but held well considering the debut of QUANTUM OF SOLACE. The film has grossed an estimated 89.8 million thus far.

The remaining films in the top 10 read as last week's tallies with the requisite drops from last Friday.
