The 12^th round of Formula Pilota China came to Guangdong International Circuit on September 16^th, 2012. After 18 laps, Eurasia Motorsport swept the podium; Parth Ghorpade (2#) won, his total time was 22:28.667, and he also set the best lap of the round (1:14.318), Antonio Giovinazzi (99#) finished 2^nd (22:33.953), while Sean Gelael (7#) finished the race in 3^rd place and his total time was 22:34.375. 

The race started at 10:17 on Sunday morning. Ghorpade got off to a good start and led the fleet to T1, followed by his two teammates Galeal and Giovinazzi. Ghorpade found good pace for the race, created clear gap and managed to win both overall and Asian class. At last lap, Gelael, who was 2^nd the entire race, missed a gear and lost his position to Giovinazzi. In the end, Giovinazzi finished 2^nd, Gelael was overall 3^rd and 2^nd in Asian class. Dan Wells finished the race in 4^th place, while Ren Nagabuchi was overall 5^th and 3^rd in Asian class. 

After Guangdong event, Giovinazzi managed to extend his lead on the points table (138 points), Dan Wells has 118 points and he is 2^nd, Ghorpade is 3^rd (110 points). As for Asian class, Ghorpade took over the lead (135 points), Gelael is 2^nd with 131 points in his hands, Nagabuchi is 3^rd (116 points). 

Formula Pilota China will travel to Sepang International Circuit for the last two events of the season, with the season champion still open, the last 6 rounds will feature a lot of hot fight. Stay tuned for more from FPC.
