An Interview With UK Sales Agent Eddie Leahy

Hello all!

I begin my first blog post with a video interview I did with UK Sales Agent Eddie Leahy from Centre Media at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival.

Eddie discusses his experiences at Cannes over the years, the expertise of his sales company, his advice for filmmakers wanting to get their films to an audience, and a little French film called "The Red Balloon".

I have negotiated the Cannes Film Festival and Market for several years now; it is a big market with much opportunity to network set in one of the most beautiful places in the world. But be prepared and do your homework! I highly recommend it for filmmakers wanting to get out there and network; if nothing else, you'll see how many other people out there are working in film and what you have to compete against!
