A great weekend for Kessel Racing in Portimao
Positive record for Kessel Racing at the end of the first weekend in the International Open G.T.
races with the runs held on the Portimao circuit in Portugal.
In the first race, held on Saturday, Broniszewski/Peter crossed the line second with the Ferrari
458 G.T.2 in the SGT series, while DalleStelle/Zampieri with the 458 G.T.3 came home third in
the GTS category. Great performances also by the other driver couples from the team from
Grancia, with Mantovani/Cecchellero in fifth position in their category as well as Earle/Kremer
and Alexander/Calari. In the second race, which started in the rain and created some problems on
the Portuguese track, Broniszewski/Peter crossed the line in eighth position in the SGT category,
while also setting the fastest race lap. In the category for GTS cars Dalle Stelle/Zampieri almost
gained a place on the podium, crossing the line fourth, ahead of Cecchellero/Mantovanial (fifth)
and Earle/Kremer (sixth). The other 458 G.T.3, driven by Alexander/Calari concluded the race in
ninth position in the respective category. The next appointment for Kessel Racing in the
International G.T. Open race is set on the last weekend of May at the German Nürburgring.
