Scarlett and other stars love the new Bulgarian Hollywood

The last Hollywood star who travelled to Bulgaria to visit Nu Boyana was Sylvester Stallone. These film studios, near Sofia, are not as famous as those in Hollywood, but their appeal is growing. Corriere.it reports that this place is becoming a great location to shoot films.

Scarlett Johansson, Morgan Freeman, Hilary Swank and Antonio Banderas are only some of the famous actors who came here. Bulgaria is very cheap, so producers love it. Walk-on actors, for example, are paid only 15 euros (20 dollars) a day. Thanks to this, 90 movies were shot in Nu Boyana in the last nine years and other six are scheduled in the next two months.
