Bin Laden TV Channel Surfing

Osama Bin Laden home video has been released by the US Government from the computer hard drives taken during raid by Navy Seals in which terrorist was killed.

Bin Laden is watching television,surfing channels with a remote control apparently seeking out images of himself.

One may ask why has the US Government chosen to release these videos now? They counter suggestion of certain US officials that he was living in luxury in his Pakistan "mansion."

However, they also do bring down Osama's mythical image. In the videos, Osama is cold, graying and without black tint to his beard that he apparently had come to add during videos he released during his decade in hiding.

He is also shown with the human frailties of a man of a man anxious to find himself the subject of television programs.

Finally, the US Government can use this video to prove at least circumstantially that they got their man. That Osama was indeed the man killed in that compound in Pakistan.
