Khyber Pass War Refugees
Independent Films, Politics, Social Responsibility Movies
In the war against the Taliban both in Pakistan as well as Afghanistan whole communities have been displaced by the fighting. Thousands, more accurately millions, on the Pakistani side of the Khyber Pass have been made refugees. They are now away from their homes, schools, farms and livelihoods for several years, and yet return does not appear particularly likely.
The UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) has been attending to these internally displaced, along with other related UN agencies and NGOs, to deliver food, medicine, tents and some notion of normalcy.
