Part2/Jane Bussmann-Making Scene at UN
Independent Films, Interviews
Jane Bussmann is a celebrity journalist turned foreign correspondent. She has written for South Park, the Emmy Winning "Smack the Pony" , developed comedy for NBC, HBO, and the BBC among others. She discovered she wanted to do something more useful with her time than celebrity journalism, and went to Uganda to cover the Lord's Resistance Army- led by Joseph Kony. She turned her trip to Uganda into a comedy theatre piece which has been shown around the world, and was recently shown at Women's Center Stage Festival at the Living Theatre. She also wrote a book about it, "Bussmann's Holiday, Or the Worst Date Ever".
