Lulu Cerone at the Un Youth Forum.
Lulu Cerone, who started a lemonade stand to raise funds for the earthquake victims in Haiti last year when she was 11 years old, was at the event to talk about what had inspired her to give back to communities in need.
At an interview with UNifeed, Cerone said that she had raised $4,000 for Haiti adding “I really felt that I needed to help because they can’t do anything about it.”
Cerone, who works with AllyKatzz, a media company that provides platforms for girls to share information about their work, is currently working on another project called The Bloodwater Mission. Through the project she is raising money to help build wells in villages in African countries.
