So you've been using the major social networks like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and Tumblr to promote your content on Film Annex. You've been reaching out to your friends, followers, and secret admirers through these platforms to spread the word about your work and increase your Film Annex Buzz Score. Plus, you've been getting paid because your Buzz Score has been going up, and your page has been receiving a lot of visits. Sounds like you're living the Film Annex dream!

What's next? There's another useful tool and/or social network that you can benefit from. Say hello to Klout.

The Klout Score measures influence based on your ability to drive action. Every time you create content or engage you influence others. The Klout Score uses data from social networks in order to measure:

  • True Reach: How many people you influence
  • Amplification: How much you influence them
  • Network Impact: The influence of your network

As a result, you can get a score that ranges from 0 to 100. In addition, Klout tells you whether you're an expert in your field or not. Depending on the topics you talk about and how often you talk about them, you can be labeled as a Taste maker, Socializer, Networker, Observer, Explorer, Activist, or Specialist... Sounds familiar?

Yes, the Klout Score is similar to Film Annex's Buzz Score in a way, but the difference is that Film Annex actually rewards you financially based on your score.
