Last year was my first year out of college, and I managed to book several acting gigs, publish my first article of writing on SAFD.org, travel to Europe for the first time in a trip to Scotland, and be interviewed by Ambassador Mo Sacirbey at the United Nations for a theatre show I performed in for the Commission on the Status of Women Conference at the United Nations. This interview with the Ambassador led to an interview series I hosted, filmed at UNTV, that focused on women active in Diplomacy & Art. I also went on my first National Tour as an actor!
It was an exciting year, and my goal for 2012 is to be as exciting but more focused and directed on escalating my acting career. That's my goal, but I know you've got to be open to unexpected changes life throws your way! I never would've guessed all the good that happened this past year was on it's way.
