We've decided to start a new blog subject that we will be posting a few times a week. It's called "Romantic Recipes" Both Jeannine and Dana love to cook...and not to brag but we are both pretty damn good at it! Firstly, you can make ANY meal romantic. I don't care if you are frying liver- you can put your heart into it and make it romantic!
This week's dish is a healthy one, healthy for your heart and healthy for love. It's also SO SIMPLE! Just steam brocolli and slice some cherry tomatoes and put to the side. Don't forget to salt those tomatoes!!
While boiling pasta, sauté a shallot in a little oil. Add salt and pepper, then add half a bouillon cube and cook for 5 minutes, then add half a cup of wine. Cook and reduce for 10 minutes.
When the pasta is cooked, throw broccoli
and tomatoes on top, then add the shallot sauce, stir, and enjoy!
This healthy meal will get anyone smiling.
