Yesterday i had a little idea for a short which was:

(Old man lays blanket down near the edge of a cliff he pats the blanket down as voice over begins we also see flashbacks)

Before you die they say that your whole life flashes before your eyes, but not me! For me it was just one moment, and it was a moment that I didn’t even know I had.

Its my wife’s hands giving me some milk in the kitchen, I take the milk and look up at her, she is in mid conversation but she stops… and smiles. It plays over and over in my head and every time I see her smile I feel safe and warm inside.

So as I sit here waiting… trying to work out why just this one moment plays again and again… I understand. Its because this one moment has everything that I need. In this one short moment it shows me that sometimes there is more than a birthday or a party or all the big things we do so we remember. Sometimes there is just a smile!

(Wife walks up behind old man and takes his arm, they look at each other and smile. As we pull back to revile a wide of the cliff edge and the sky looks on fire as the world comes to an end!)

So thats it! Not even a scrip yet just wanted to get something down as its been in my head for a while.

Also been watching a lot of Bear Grills lately and decided yesterday that i was gonna try and make my first fire which i did in my back garden. Took me some time but i eventually got it started by using some cotton wool and my knife and flint. Cheating a little but hey camping time take some cotton wool as its highly flammable!

Also how cool would it be for Bear Grills should do a Halloween special showing you how to survive in a zombie scenario ACE!!!
